FL Winter PKWIII, Mainstein's Drive to Relieve the Stalingrad Kessel (1 Viewer)

Got back from a biz trip and had my initial FL WWII order waiting for me (thanks Treefrog!). I am flat 'blown away' by the level of detail on the Winter PkwIII from the tracks, to the hull, to the turret and the figure. I got some figures too, but haven't opened 'em yet (taking my time and enjoying them slowly). All I can say is WOW, really glad I got into the FL WWII line at this point.

I took a few quick shots, trying to pose the tank as pushing through a wrecked Russian town, headed (in vain) to try to reach the Stalingrad Kessel.

Hi Mike, a great looking set up you have there, love the rubble/buildings as well but the winter Panzer is a killer!! no doubt my favorite FL tank to date, the detail will have you looking at it all the time, and you will always notice something that you didn't catch from the previous time you looked at it, glad to see another WWII fan has joined the First Legion ranks, look forward to seeing your soldiers in action as well...Sammy

Thanks very much fellas, I've got no regrets for jumping into the FL WWII line. I'll have to change my dio base some as I'd built it out to reflect a western European setting.
I have to admit I couldn't believe how lightweight that tank was as I took it from the box ! I plan to get the infantry out today-wanted to 'savor the experience' of moving to a new line.
