Flower girl conversion (1 Viewer)

Converted one of my VN85 Flower girls to a Paddy field worker carrying bundles of Rice plants instead of baskets of Flowers.

Repainted the girls tunic, making it a more simple white, bit of filing on the shoes turning them into sandals marking out the toes with a very fine marker pen, much simpler than it sounds as it's just a few lines.
Rice plants are paintbrush bristles tied into small bundles, this can be done with some cotton or thin wire then painted green and glued to the pole made from a cocktail stick.

Cheers Tman, yeah the VN series could do with a couple of figures planting / harvesting rice, I've asked Andy about that a while back, though at the time he didn't have any in the pipeline, time has marched on since then so you never know, just keep your fingers crossed as I am !

Love it cobber. A great conversion. I am constantly looking through K&Cs SOHK range for figures/sets that I can get the artistry of young Obee to play with, modify and repaint. I am sure that Andy would love to do more VN civilians but with the problems in HK and China I am sure he has to be very selective in his choice of figures/sets to produce and release.

Oh, for the good old days of bucket loads of releases each month. Budget busters.{sm4}
