Great pieces, great dio! These WW1 warbirds look really good.

So do I ... and it cost 15 dollars! The Jenkins planes, however, are just superb so you are justified in your boast.

Thank you for the comments and the 'likes'. It is a great series and it allows a use of plastic models and metal figures which I would encourage others to try. As an aside I purchased a resin pilot figure for the upcoming Gotha (70 cm wingspan). It is in pieces and needs assembly (obviously!) and painting. It cost 22 dollars plus three dollars postage. Great looking figure which offers possibilities but it made the metal painted figures from all the major manufacturers look quite good value. In fact, given that I do not have thumbs, a painted figure actually looks fantastic value ... to me. As a second aside I have purchased a Sarum TS kit (Brit officers playing pool) which I intend to attempt to paint in the New Year. I am going to extort money from them by threatening to post photographs!
