Hi, it must be me but I find ebay a hard slog to sell a collection, is there anywhere I can go to list my 2000+ figs?

I would put an ad on this website but do they sell or just collect more dust?

I don't mind paying fees but would like to sell items in larger lots to speed process and reduce processing time?

Just whingeing

Are there any shows held locally? Sometimes collections are disposed of that way.

Also, if you don't want to go the online route, check with your local auction houses. They will probably have contacts to auctioneers who specialize in toys in general, or maybe even in toy soldiers. I know here in my area, there are many auction houses that handle toys, and toy soldiers, and can network with others.

Prost!

Norman Joplin has a new auction house specifically geared to vintage toy soldiers with Britains being the main focus. Sounds like a perfect place to sell your collection.
You can contact him at info@normanjoplin.com.
Good luck with your project!

If you're in Australia, it may cost you a little to box up your collection and ship it off to an auction house in the USA or in the UK.

How can it hurt for you to list the collection on this forum as well as perhaps Ebay. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Who knows, you may get some bites. It's free to post photos and a descritpion on the forum. The worse that can happen is you shared your collection with others.

Good luck.

Yo Trooper, stop whingeing cobber and lets see some of them on the forum, doesn't cost anything to put a photo up. So come on Trooper Bruce lets see what you have got for sale.

Hi BustedVet,

You got to find a collector, try this.

Sell some interesting items on eBay, ( to get people to notice you ) and mention in the discription that you will be selling many more rare and hard to find item. This might get collectors to contact you.

It worked for me ;)

Good Luck,

Paul
