FORCES OF VALOUR / UNIMAX has been bought by a company called WALTERSONS!
Their planed releases for 2017 in 1:32 vehicles are as follows:

* US M-10 Tank Destroyer

* US EASY EIGHT

* US SHERMAN w. 105mm Gun

* GERM. STRUM TIGER

* GERM. (Early) TIGER I

* GERM. 10cm KANNON

* SOV. SU-100

* KV-2

I've been saying for years that FOV could do well if its owners would put a little bit of effort into their company.
I can't wait to buy all their new releases!

MEH!!The cannon and the Sturm tiger VI are OK the rest have been done to death for Crips Sake.Where's the Char bis,Somua,Merkava,T55,Centurion,Leopard,WW2 Italians,Japsanese,LeClerc,etc etc etc

Didn't you realize that the following vehicles are verboten in the toy soldiers industry: LeClerc, Merkava,T55,Centurion,Leopard, LOL, LOL. Unfortunately, these vehicles are only produced in 1/35 model kits. In many aspects the toy soldier industry is stuck in World War II. If you want modern subject matter you have to build plastic models. Alternatively, R4a can do post world war II figures, they have yet to do post WWII vehicles.

I'm happy for then ,hope their bring it sooner and at speed release manner.
However...
Their prices are insane.($50-80.00 ) PER ARMOR!!!{eek3}{eek3}
I prefer the century 21 prices.
FOV-Are heavy model that to build a platoon you need hundred of dollars for it .Beside too delicate to play around and if minor drop from low high you can have then crack like a melon
Not doubt in stunning detail and realism of course!!!
But n more a realistic replica than actual toy to play with toy soldiers.
I catalog then more with the metal line ,not plastic.
My thoughts=opinion.
best...

There is not an M4A3E8 in 1/32nd and there never has been, therefore I reject your premise of "done to death". Leclerc? Nice on parade, but not a noted COMBAT tank. Leopard II has seen action in Afghanistan, but hasn't seen the combat action of its US and Russian contemporaries. T55 and Centurion - fine tanks that have long histories and many users. Let us see what the market is before going out on a limb with the Italians and 1940 campaign French. How many $100 M13/40s are you willing to buy? Minimal sales potential = dangerous ground for the new company.

Personally, I welcome the M4A3E8 because I have wanted one in this scale for many years. There are a number of paint schemes available, and several foreign users. The M10 is a great choice for potential sales - it came into service in Tunisia and served in every theater with the US Army, plus the M10 served with the British, the Free Poles, the Free French, a few to the Russians, and probably others. Allow for multiple paint schemes, etc. and there should be good sales potential.

Don't know where that first "s" came from in Japanese.Hopefully there will be a crew for the cannon,that IS on the want list.

I also would like to eventually see FOV do these vehicles in their 1:32 line :

JAPANESE - TYPE 2 AMPHIBIOUS TANK
- CHI-HA (Early & Late)Turret

ITALIAN - M 13/40 Tank
- SEMOVENTE Assault Gun

FRENCH - CHAR-B

BRITISH - CHURCHILL TANK

The Plastic General demands this to happen!

I have always liked the kanone 18. In Manstein's "Lost Victories" that is the weapon that was best against T-34s and the KV series. I might have get it.

I want to see a nashorn and a jagdpanzer iv. Im excited about the easy 8 Sherman too. Can now do my fury playset!! At a reasonable cost. I've been using the 21st allied firefly. Later I'd like a t34/76 and a js1 or 2. I would like an Italian French and Japanese tank too.

I'm just happy to see another player in the hobby. Although I personally can't afford their vehicles at $100.00 each, I do have a few of their figures, and accessories like fuel drums, guard houses and furniture. These little "do-dads" that they make really put some nice detail into what I like to do.

Holy Cadiddlehopper! An easy 8! A Sherman 105! An M10! The 10cn German artillery piece! No, they haven't been done before, not unless you build kits. I'm with Gary. Hot ****!

Thank you FOV for continuing to take a chance on this market.

Hey Gary,

Missed you, too! Hopefully, this year will work out.

My buddy, who lives downstairs, is certainly going to want a KV2 and a Strum Tiger VI. Wait til I show him.... he'll be a happy dude. I started him on a tank/AFV collection, giving him spares and buying stuff at shows for him. His wife's ready to kill me - tanks everywhere - but he loves it. Also sent a few planes his way, too. Crowded skies and crowded coffee tables.

That's a good point about the price. Didn't their vehicles and figure sets sell for a couple tens of dollars, the last time around? They were carried by Walmart and other discount department stores. I was hoping they might get back to that niche. The models from FoV, 21st Century Toys, Blue Box, etc, were all good entrees to get kids interested in the hobby, and in military history. Reasonably priced, and reasonably detailed. You didn't mind giving a tank and the figures to a kid and letting him beat the hell out of them, the way we did with green army men, or with hollowcasts the generations before that. They were cheap enough that you could get more. But maybe they smell the blood in the water from collectors of the contemporary 1/30 makers, so they're heading into that school of fish instead.

Prost!
