On Moderator Appreciation Day of our 10th Anniversary celebration we also wish to acknowledge our two former moderators Drum and Jazzeum.
While Drum is no longer active on the forum Jazzeum most certainly is and gave us and our members years of dedicated service back when it was just the two of us moderating. I so appreciated that he actually read every single post on every single thread. His vigilance was astonishing and we at the Treefrog forum are truly grateful for all his years of service.

We will be presenting Jazzeum with this Empire Miniatures WWI Belgian Maxim Machine Gun Team set (W1-1409) that we know he has had his eye on, in appreciation for his time as a moderator.

Thank you Brad for all your hard work!

Very Cool! Brad was a great moderator and I learned a lot from him while we worked together here.

Gentle Friends,

Like Dave said, this gift is very cool and I am pleased that Brad is being recognized for his contributions to the forum. When I first joined the forum in 2005, I quickly became aware of Brad's dedication as a moderator on the forum. I was greatly impressed with the amount of time he spent reading and watching the forum. Often, I wondered when he slept as he seemed to always be available. Little does he know he has served me as one of my many role models in the hobby. As one of the first moderators, he helped set the standard for quality service in the moderator's role. He demonstrated interest in all forum members and he was directly helpful to many, many members.

I remember my first direct contact with Brad. He called me on the telephone to inquire about particular statement I had posted. He was warm, genuine, and he was an easy person with whom to visit. After completing our conversation, I recall wishing I could meet him face to face, which, fortunately, I was able to do at the Chicago Show. Becoming better acquainted with him only elevated my respect for him as a fellow collector and as a sincere moderator. If you do not know Brad, you are missing an opportunity to connect with a great potential friend.

Congratulations on receiving a fine gift, Brad, and thank you for your friendship!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)

A well deserved and gracious gift. Brad has always been a great friend to me and very helpful to me since my first day on the forum. He has always been very forthcoming with information and generous to me in other ways. Congratulations, Brad. -- Al

Shannon and all,

Have to say I'm a little stunned as although I'm quite appreciative to Shannon and Pete (and I'm sure Malcolm too), I don't believe I'm deserving as I haven't been a moderator for a few years and Shannon and Pete were kind to me then, in many, many ways.

I do appreciate this and will be able to add what looks like a special set to my WW I collection that includes figures and models from K & C, John Jenkins, AeroArt, Beating Retreat, Thomas Gunn and now Empire. Again, many thanks.

Those early days were a lot of fun and sometimes challenging and I was glad to be able to contribute in a small way to what Shannon and Pete had created.

Shannon has been there for me through thick and thin and her positive attitude is always an encouragement.

Thank you to Dave, Pat and Al for the kind words. It means a lot.

Brad

Brad mate,
Congrats from the Land Downunder. Well deserved as if my memory serves me correctly you moderated thru the K&C - FL Wars of some three years ago.^&grin Those were some pretty hectic days and if I remember I think I may have received my one and only infraction during that period.
However, it is great to see your service and the other boys recognized.:salute::
Cheers Howard

much deserved! I wasn't here when Brad was a mediator, but since joining, Brad has advised me numerous times (and even with GOOD advice!{sm4} )

Through Brad's recommendations, I have met many members and craftsmen that I normally never would have. It is partly because of brad that my collection is as varied and unique as it is

Much deserved and looks like a nice set!

I think I came on board to replace Brad so never had the pleasure of working with him.
