Is possible that eventually the photo size uptake on the forum of 97.7KB, might be increased to assist? I have been trying to use photo bucket so far without success so I can increase the size of my photos, my son will call in one day and sort it out for me sometime in the future, but it would sure be easier if the above limit could be increased instead.Cheers, Robin.

I use Photobucket, too, so I might be able to help you. What sort of problem are you having?

Prost!

The problem I suspect of changing photo size is site bandwidth and unfortunately that is non trivial cost addition. Yes many of us use photobucket and it is dead easy once you get the hang of it. Where is it going wrong for you? Have you been able to create an account and upload the photos you speak of?

Thanks guys, my problem is I use a Mac computer and PC comments are not relevant. I have opened a photo bucket account, but cannot see how to get photos into it and than out on to the forum site. I think I need my son who is alot more computer wise to assist. Thanks, again. Robin.

Robin, on your photo bucket account you will see various options. Simply copy (cut and paste) the list of characters that has at the start and finish onto the position in your new post that you want the photo.

You can adust the size of the image via the 'Edit Options' section in your User CP link found at the top LHS of this page.

Robin...

look at the mouse and red circles...

you will use the IMG Code to transfer your photo from Photobucket to Treefrog......

you need to cut and paste this link to your post on Treefrog...

you need to "highlight" the IMG Code numbers in the right cirle with your mouse...

1) left click on the text in the square that I circled to the right...it will highlight the text...

2) then right click on that highlighted text...

a page will open with options...

3) now select "copy" with your mouse...

the link is now stored in your mouse...once you click on "copy"...you have captured that text inside your mouse...it's waiting for you to use it...

4) now go to your forum post...make your written post...

5) when you are finished writing...press right click on your mouse...

a page will open with options...

6) select "paste"...

the link will appear in your post...you have cut and pasted it from Photobucket to Treefrog...

you are finished...

it will automatically resize for you...

I think he said he needs to know how to load them from a MAC. I don't speak Apple; anyone have one or know how to upload files from them?

Ooooooooooooooh my...

hahaha...

my instructions are for Windows...

Robin...if you know how to cut and paste with your Mac...

it's the same procedure...

good luck...if you get stuck...PM me...

Isn't the process still the same, though, whether Mac OS or MS-DOS, to upload pics to Photobucket? That is, you navigate to Photobucket and drill down into the appropriate album, click the button to upload photos, and then get a browse popup? I don't know if Apple's "data forks" (ie, data defining any given file actually reside in two different places) are visible to the user at that point. So, the file browse window opens, and you just click through your files until you find the picture you want to select?

Prost!
