Is that what caused the expired certificate errors I got this morning when I tried to access the forum?

Hello Julie,
All working fine now after getting security warnings from my system etc this am UK time. Please pass on my thanks to Stacie for letting me know what was happening. I tend to think::-
I must have pressed some button in error.
and/or
Updates never go smoothly.
So hope things stay good.

Hi John, I understand they changed the ranking system over ten years ago, around 2011. Every member was demoted then, and there has been some subsequent smaller demotions due to thread and post loses whenever Treefrog changed servers. In addition most of the longer term members such as you and myself don't post as much as we used to, which has allowed newer members to overtake us in the ranking system.

All I know it is that there is no way I would be entrusted with the rank of Sergeant!{sm2}

Rankings system has not changed, but as mentioned, if threads were pruned (we only have so much space!), your post count could have lowered and rank changed.
It's not something I plan on changing, but do have to prune and archive to save space since my budget is not infinite
