As you know all I live in France and no FOV in stores; I can only order on the web. And I have a problem with the FOV figures: some are fine ( tankists, ) and others are risen ( ) with the result that I hesitate to order those of the war of Iraq... can you light me on top? Perhaps pics of yours collections?

Many thanx to take the trouble to,

Unfortunately, almost all of the first releases of FoV figures are very misshapen in my opinion. It doesn't matter if they are German, British or US WW2 or Iraq War. They suffer from this forearms, relatively huge hands holding very small weapons and heads that are short and squat.

Some of the newest series are quite nice. The new set of US troops with prisoners looked about as good as many lines of 54mm figures. The new US set with medic combines two new figures with three old ones so the difference is obvious. I have only looked at the new US sets, so I cannot comment on other figures. The figures with the new release of the US M3A1 halftrack also look quite good. The tank riders with the recent Sherman are good, but all are wearing the DDay assault vest. Not incorrect, but an unusual piece of equipment after the invasion as the vest was unpopular with most GI's.

Do you want pictures of the Iraq war guys or just any fov figures.?

I agree the first ones were poor but are getting better all the time. Personally I love all toy soldiers.

Many thanx for fast answers to both! Pics are useless now woodenwarriors , I just will wait new plastic figures of modern wars!

Just one question: the new figures don't have bases, right?

nope Custer the figs do have bases although some stand pretty fine on their own.
