hey guys!
just wondering if you knew what year FOV started production and what the first release(s) were.

Good question I think it was 2003 but may be out by a year.
The first wave of releases were- king tiger, tigerI,Matilda, Sherman, US halftrack, amphibian, jeep, schwimmwagen, Abrams, Bradley, Patton, Humvee.

use to have the matilda, but sadly i lost it.

In that first wave, the US halftrack mentioned was the M16 "quad fifties". The M3A1 personnel carrier came later.

so it was the one with the AA gun on the back.

I think the stug III was also one of the initial releases. At least a very early one, when all of them were "action" grade and available at KB Toys.

I picked up a load of the early releases at KB online for something like $11 each.

ahh yeah the Stug III. I forgot that one -I remember those first releases came out with a fold out brochure/poster and was trying to remember everything on it!

The first two waves of FOV were the best in my opinion, good detail, more metal content and good weathering.
The Diorama versions were expensive but well worth getting.
