what FOVs would you like unimax to make?you never know,they might be browsing the board.;)

I see nobody else bit yet. I think that we will be lucky to get much of anything from Unimax in 2010. Looking at 21C going down and the reduced releases from FoV in 2009, I think that we will be lucky to get one, maybe two new vehicles, and a repaint or two.

sadly i'm gonna have to agreee with you.our economy's hitting everyone hard.
but as long as we see something,i'm satisfied.
 
An M10 , or anything else on the Sherman chassis would be good.

I think a couple of repaints of the new 1/32 armour would sell well = Eastern front Elfant , king tiger
 
All in all I miss armored reconnaissance cars from every country, there are just two pieces of the Russian material around and far too little aircrafts in artillery pieces in 1:32 available.

As for the figures, I would recommend that they spend more time producing vehicles than figure sets since most of the figures sets that have been released are pretty hideous to say the least. Although the ones included with the vehicles (Tank commanders/crew only) have improved over that years.
The economy is not so much an issue as their vehicles are still affordable, they need to expand on what is produced and release some new vehicle types.
Repaints of certain vehicles would be great.
As for new vehicles, the following would be great.
German 250's or different variations of the 251.
Mark III's
Panzer IV or IV/70
Sd.Kfz 234/1,2 Puma or 3.
Marder's II or III
A Hummel or Nashorn.
Sd.Kfz 222 or a 231
Sd.Kfz 10/4

One repaint sorely needed is another early version of the T-34. Don't understand how this fell thru the cracks. Let's see where 2010 takes us.
 
I agree an M10 would be good and would offer lots of markings and repaint opportunities. A US 3/4 ton WC51 light truck would be fun to have and a later Sherman, the M4A3 with Wet Stowage or the M4A3E8 would be very nice.

Don't forget the British & commonwealth fought in the war to ;)
 
The who? Were they there too? :)

Seriously, I admire te Commonwealth forces but my budget limits me to actually buying American vehicles - that's my primary interest. When I respond to these want lists I think it's only fair to list equipment that I would actually purchase.

Your right in what your saying but it would be nice to see some British stuff instead of Shermans & Tiger tank all the time + the British had some very interesting kit

the Diecast range of figures were good...once out of the box they look even better. Quite affordable too. The Cast figure with the resin base, and the action pose....Me likes!! Wish there were more of them.(only released 10. I have seen of them in hiding in the diormas section posing with th e"big boys".

I don't know how anybody can like the figure sets. In comparison to the figures you get with the bigger models they look like toys. I got a few one and hoped they wouldn't look that bad after taking them out of the box, but I can't overcome myself to place those crossbreeds of Hulk and Popeye between my very detailed models.

Because the British forces were so underrepresented. I would like to get a Light Tank Mk VI and a Hurricane. :)

I agree about the plastic figures-just to be clear. The FOV released Diecast metal singles the line was called "soldiers of steel"...us army in ww2 ,and us marines in Iraq. These figures are a great value. They only had 5 in each series. the figure is metal and the bases in resin The soldier and base come apart.
shamelss plug here. I have some for sale 12Cdn each New in box but the boxes are somewhat worn. they made a run for Walmart-these boxes are a different colour. I don't know which is which.

Anyway, if FOV did more singles like these Iwould be happy! those are good to go.!

Hi hsm,

you are right about the Diecast metal singles. I have three of the five second world war guys on display next to my tanks. They look absolutely fine but are still a bit oversized in comparison to the guys I get with the tanks. And no I don't mean the tank crews, they had to be smaller guys of course. :)
But all in all I would like to see a few more of those, especially Krauts of course.

I'm not even sure they were available in Canada either (soldier of steel) I don't remeber ever seeing them anywhere.
