Thanks for the info.
I will be on the lookout for painted figures by Mokarex. I especially like the one of Hausseman, Gambetta, Thiers, and the literary figures like Dumas and Hugo. My Masters was in modern European history with an emphasis on Modern France. I also studied French literature. I will be trawling eBay in France!
