Frank Gifford.....rest in peace... (1 Viewer)

I remember him well, an integral part of those 50's and 60's Giants teams that always seemed to be in the championship games. Those were some great teams, if usually just short of winning it all. RIP. -- Al

Great commentator, but he came up a little short in the "integrity of life" category. :rolleyes2: And he never could get over losing the "Greatest Game Ever Played" to the Colts. Chris

I would like to think that we are allowed to screw up, every now and then..That is what free will and consequences are all about..Besides, God made us as imperfect, else a perfect man would not need God...Michael

Thanks for the sermon.

Anyone ever read "A Fan's Note" by Frederick Exley? It's a bit of cult book in which the main character compares his life with that of Frank Gifford who was a football god in college.
