We don't often toot the Treefrog horn here on the forum, but from time to time we need to do it.

We now offer free shipping on ALL international orders over $250.

We offer free shipping on domestic orders over $20.

I'm constantly hearing prices are going up so we're going up from all types vendors but its nice to hear that somebody is going the opposite direction. Thank you.
 
Good to hear but I wish the international limit was like $175 because in Canada at least, if you purchase more than $200 you risk paying extra duty.
 
Taking the considerable savings you receive from not having to pay the shipping (which averages between $30 and $40 to ship $250 of merchandise internationally) I would expect the shipping savings will cover the duty cost with possible money left over to spare.
Also, if you buy American-made products such as Build-A-Rama and Hudson & Allen Canadian customs can't levy a duty because of the NAFTA. So theoretically if you bought $175 of non-US products and bought US-made diorama accessories to fill the rest of the order I assume no duty would be assessed.
It's always a good idea to write to your government officials how you stand on issues and let them know the changes you want them to make. If enough Canadians lobbied for duty-free imports from the US maybe they would change the regulations. NAFTA is a good start but much more could be done to make imports merchandise from the US cheaper and easier.

Good idea but I think I'll save my lobbying energies for other more important issues. Eventually we'll probably see full economic integration (for better or worse) between our two countries, but for now I can get most of what I need from Canadian retailers which saves me a few dollars. I've always really valued Treefrog's customer service though, among the best out there.

Well, gosh darn and blast.....I just missed out on the free international shipping by about one week :eek::(:eek:. Oh well, some you win, some you lose.
One things for sure, this'll mean the money saved will buy at least one extra set of figures in each future order :):):D

I'm always too late -- I wish you guys had adopted this "free shipping" policy about 2 weeks ago. Oh well, it's better late than never.

I echo Pats thoughts above.I think free postage and a reward scheme is a great idea,these sort of things are a real bonus to a collector.

.....And these benefits also engender customer loyalty, among those of us who are old-fashioned enough to be inclined that way.

Hi guys,

Whilst the free shipping is absolutely great, there are a few other dealers out there also offering free shipping. But one big thing for me marks Treefrog as a standout.

The thing about Treefrog, is that they really seems like a friendly, easy going and understanding group of people. I admit that i'm not an easy guy to handle; always the eager-go-getter, wanting to know the latest news, always enquiring etc, but the Treefrog crew, esp. Shannon and Mandi, had patiently and professionally cater to me.

I just received my first Package from Treefrog, and was absolutely delighted by the packing of the items. All items were well packed and no breakage issues.

Treefrog has gained my upmost confidence, and my long days scouring Ebay looks like being numbered.

They truly are a dream to deal with as I pester them on occassion as well. The free shipping is great but don't forget the Rivet Rewards! TF keeps getting better and better.
