Again I must say what a great collection.I don't know how anybody can paint those little fellas so well.:)
Mark

Thanks Mark, I can't take the credit for painting all of these, but I did do quite a few of them...............

The figures might be 20mm George but the results look MASSIVE. Very nice.

Thanks Mike; as you and I have discussed, I go for 20mm figures for the exact reason you pointed out; MASS. I am working my way towards a massive depection of the French Cavalry charge at Waterloo that will contain several thousand figures once it is all done...............

Very cool George. So how many figures is that; I know there are more that 300 from what I can tell?

Thanks Bill; this one here has close to 500 figures. French Lancers, Guard Lancers, Cuirassiers, Hussars, Chasseurs A Cheval, Dragoons, British foot and horse artillery, line infantry, highlanders, Hussars and Dragoons.

I hope to do a Waterloo depiction with about 4 or 5 times that many figures...................

George,

Now that will be worth waiting for! :) I'm glad that you have got the "Napoleonic Bug" back at the moment, really enjoy looking at your photos, these bring back happy memories of my wargaming days. The French Line Lancers look a bit like old Hinton Hunt figures?

keep them coming.

Thanks Jeff for the comments and you are spot on, those are the old Hinton Hunt range of French line lancers mixed in with some Kennington Miniatures line lancers. The Dutch Lancers and Cuirassiers as well as the British Hussars and Dragoons are all Kennington as well. The French heavies coming across the wheat field are a mix of Hinton Hunt and Hap Jordan figures; all of the British infantry and Highlanders are Newline Design..............

Great setup and discription George, I agree, you have one heck of a collection. Nothing like good Calvary charge, except maybe a strong square to fend it off.:)

Thanks Mike, I appreciate it and welcome back to the forum............

I can't belive that i missed your post...:eek::eek:

Absolutely Fantastic

Great painting and your diorama is unbelivable george well done:D:D:D.

Very best wishes Mark

Thanks Mark and Mike, I appreciate it; that's ok Mark, these 20mm figures are kind of small and tough to see anyway, but I am glad you like what I've done here.............
