I really like your setup Tim. It is outstanding!

Is this something you keep on display or just set up to take some pictures? Do you have a room of dioramas on display?

Excellent displays both of you. This just shows how versatile the farmhouse is, it's a shame I don't have room for one :(

Thanks! Other then a small section of the bottom of the wifes display case I don,t have any of my figures on display.:( I just set up a display here and there when i have the house to myself and snap a few pictures and pack it away when i,m done. I don,t have any room to leave anything set up unfortunetly.

Tim and MK: Nice displays. Well planed and the figures and buildings make a fine display. Nice painting Tim. Thanks for posting the pictures. John

I have been tinkering with the landscaping again. I like covering the bases in my displays better. I will go back and add the dirt/gravel like I had the first time, but it will now cover the bases of the figures.

Yeah,
I go along with the rest of the guys, really really nice display - and thanks for letting us see it.

Cheers

I love that display ! But, you would expect that from me :D

This display will the French Farm House has given me so many new ideas - thanks. And I really love that ground cover.

Lovely dioramas! Can someone explain to me though why the CG kneeling/firing figure has his left eye open to aim when he is right handed (you can see this in one of the first diorama pics)? This is one sticking point that has stopped me getting it thus far

I think those dioramas are really great. Thank you for psoting. I am impressed that there are not many multiples yet the effect is still great. I was worreid that with Napoleonics you needed 100 kneeling to repel and 100 firing figures to look good.
Thanks for posting
Regards
Damian

Keen observation. I am not sure this well sway you but one reason is that he could be left eye dominant. Thought it may sound odd, some people are actually more accurate shots if they use their dominant eye rather than the one coinciding with the hand they are using. I am for example. Of course, maybe he just had a right eye irratation.

I'm tempted to copy you but...I don't think my cabinet is big enough...I'll have to have a look...

That's odd, so am I. Maybe it's not as uncommon as I thought:confused:.

Thanks Sptfrnd for the suggestion! Will probably end up getting him anyway as it's such a nicely done range

And nicely done, given the space restriction you have, too!

Prosit!

Wellington,

What you need is the farmhouse manned by French forces with British troops taking it by storm! I would do that myself, but I find that the British figures seem "defensive" in nature. Most of the figures on both sides are very similar, but the French clearly have several "attacking" poses that the British don't when it comes to the infantry. Anyone else notice this? The exception is the Scots Greys, but of course they are mounted. If my Scots Greys weren't set up at the office, I would have them set up smashing a French infantry line. How have any of you used your Scots Greys in a display?

Mine are basically lined up as in the K&C photos, but I've added a few extra French Line Infantry Figures around the Sgt. Ewart set on one end of the line. Nothing too dramatic I guess. They just look pretty darn cool as they are I think.

Here are my Scots Grey crashing into the French Lines with the GUNS !!
