Was never very happy with the original Trophy Nap. figure WA10J - Gen. of Division for French Heavy Cavalry. I found him to be a little too staid and mtd. on too small of a horse. Certainly not dynamic enough to lead my cuirassiers!;)
Made a few chops and changes using the horse and sword arm from WA11D and repainted the figure in Trophy style. Vive l'Empereur!

Incredible work. I sadly lack the skills or nerve that you have. Look forward to seeing more photos of your collection. All the best, Lawrence

Great job, do you have a big diorama you are working on with napoleonic trophy figures?

That's a real beauty. Followed the glossing of the JJD's, too. You are quite talented. Really nice work. -- Al

Thanks for the nice comments guys. I have about 12 Trophy Cuirassiers I've bought over time - some with red facings and some yellow, and most of them needing a good amount of restoring. Presently giving them some TLC, making all the facing colors red, and swapping out one of the helmeted heads for one with a bandaged head wound. I'll post some pics when the project is completed. - Ken
