Well...it seemed a bit unfair to post pics of the Scots Greys without giving the French an opportunity for retort...so here are the 4th Chevau-Leger Lancers and Polish Lancers, respectively. The 4th are comprised primarily of W. Britains up front, one Niena (actually painted as 1st Chevau-Leger, but close enough...I need to get some more of these; they are pretty nice...I included a close up). Also pictured are a few Del Prado conversions I did last year to accompany the W. Britains releases. In the back are close to a squadron of home cast from Dutkins molds, some of my first painting efforts many years ago (so I have hidden them in the back)...besides, no one makes horse molds large enough for even light cavlary...looks like the Shetland Light Horse preparing for a polo match.

Polish Lancer with CS out front, a few Frontline, and a couple of rows of Cassandra...also a few Del Prado conversions made up from figures representing most of the defeated nations in Europe (the last pic of three figures).

Nicholas,

BRILLIANT dioramas..... I can almost smell the sweat of the horses, and the smoke from the guns....

Its great to see you mixing makers, and it really doesn't show in your images.

Well Done!

John
