This is what I believe was the "Chausseurs de Afrique", separate from the Foreign Legion I think. I have a couple Osprey books, but I don't really like the pics I've seen in those. There is another FFL book coming out soon I'm looking forward to. If you have a particularly good uniform image, send it to me, the FFL is something I've been wanting to try for a long time. I like the Beau Geste Foreign Legion Sets, I could always go to those for reference and with reverence.

Hi Captkronos,
I also find the FFL and the small wars they fought in Northern Africa a rich field for us to draw our imagination and come up with great dios.....There is a wealth of history from which to pull great ideas.....I am on the look fro some Beau Geste and TGM...but for now I am concluding a project using Scale Link sets that are just perfect also....Here are some pics. I have created a FFL Album for us all to add pictures and ideas related to them....

Hi all,

Just saw a mail sent by Vicki Lucas ( Gunn Marketing Manager ) and they are asking us all amongst other things who would be interested in a French Foreign Legion Fort....If they get enough interested parties one will be offered......
I have already said YEAH.....If you are keen on giving your FFL a decent depot from which to march out or to defend from the Tuaregs.......send her a note.....
