Its a bit remiss of me but I never seem to put up much Napoleonic stuff. So here goes French artillery in action.

Thanks for posting, whose make are the limbers?
Hi Gary, et al: - I have that set from ATS as well - but added an extra pair of horses, as they would have done when the going got tough! I bought mine as castings though, and painted them as the French "Artillerie de la Garde" - as they would have been around 1815.( I did mine in my favourite way - Gloss).
I haven't connected mine up yet - as the kit came without linkage. I have bought some chain now I'm back in the UK - so will have to connect them up. This is how they look on my sunny window-sill (for now). Shows how you can paint up castings to represent just what you want.
Excellently sculpted by the way, by Alan Caton. Johnnybach
That's a marvelous gun you have there. Thanks for sharing! I hope that with the Waterloo bicentennial K&C decides to make a British or French gun with limber and horses. One can only hope. {sm4} :salute::
Cheers,
Brendan

Well Done JB! where should I go to see some close ups of your excellent work?

Hi Brendan - why not take a look at Alexander Toy Soldiers (ATS) web-site? If you look at the categories at the left of the home screen, you will find just about everything you could wish for under the general term "Napoleonic", which include both Allies and French. In the Artillery sections - you will find all kinds of vehicles too - from Horse drawn forges - to the first Ambulance.
All of them have been sculpted by Alan Caton ( a Member of the Treefrog community) - so all are compatible with each other. Prices are very competitive with some of the larger Companies ( as you mention) - and although it doesn't say so anywhere on the web-site - ATS will also produce them in either gloss or matte at your choice. Castings, incidentally, are available at roughly half of the Painted price - so can be painted by either the owner - or a painter of your own choice. jb
