Frontline Figures has a line of 1/32 scale, matte painted WWII figures covering Germans, Americans, and British forces. They include artillery sets which I forgot to photograph. In the FOV section are close-ups of some of their sets designed to go with the FOV vehicles.

Photo one: FOV Sturmgeschutz III and M4 Sherman with Frontline's WWII U.S. and German figures.

Photo two: Close-up of the Sturmgeschutz and Germans.

Photo three: Close-up of Germans in action.

Photo four: Close-up of Americans and M4 Sherman.

Here are some photos of Frontline's artillery sets in 54mm and matte paint. I believe they retail (except for the British 5.5 inch gun) for $130.

Photo one: From left, WBIA.1 British 5.5 inch gun with six-man crew, WUSA.1 U.S. 105mm howitzer with five-man crew, WGIA.1 German PAK 40 75mm anti-tank gun and three-man crew, and WGIA.2 German 10.5cm howitzer with five-man crew.

Photo two: Close-up of German PAK 40.

Photo three: Close-up of German 10.5cm howitzer.

Photo four: Close-up of U.S. 105mm howitzer.

Hi Mike,

Thank you for posting these pictures of your Frontline Artillery sets. They are really great sets. I believe Frontline makes some terrific figures and I think they often do not get enough coverage/discussion on the forum.

You should also be complimented for the fine manner in which you display your collection. The way you present your collection is very tasteful and effective!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat

Thank you Pat for your kind words. I agree with you that Frontline Figures is given short shrift on the forum. I am going to try and remedy that if I can. I am hoping that even K&C diehards will come to appreciate Frontline's product line if they can be given more exposure.

Mike thanks for the photos not only here but in the Traditional section as well. I'm in agreement with both you and Pat that Frontline provides a great range of figures having collected a number of sets of their Zulu War Series. Having posted them in the pass they are no longer availabe due to the last site change. I started reposting them and you'll find them now appearing in the preview of Fronline Thread started by plasmapulse. Looking forward to more of you photos in particular the The Trophy Zulu War Series if availabe. By the way my favorite of the WWII sets you posted in the 105mm called alot of fire mission with the real ones...The Lt.

Joe they do make some nice Zulu figures. I was looking at them today at the shop to give me some Ideas:) I would like them more if they were glossy:)

As Howard once said to me, if you don't like them in matte, spray them with a clear glossy coat.

Mike:

I've enjoyed the display of your collection through the many threads you posted on today. The Frontline figure don't look half bad either with the FOV.

Carlos

... I would like them more if they were glossy:)
Look around during the West Coaster and Chicago Shows ... Frontline orginally did all their Zulu War sets in glossy. I see loose figures and sets all the time at the shows for up to 50% the original list price.:)

Yes, it is true that you can still find Frontline Figures discontinued old, glossy Zulu War line; however, I believe that the new, matte Zulu War series is superior in terrns of sculpting and painting. When I get a chance I'll photograph my matte Frontline Rorke's Drift diorama. I am also planning on buying one or more of their new wagon sets in Chicago.

I have seen earlierer Frontline glossies and I think they are very attractive. Chicago is going to be great. Buona Beef here I come!

While waiting for your photos Mike thought I'd add a few photos of Frontlines hand to hand sets.......The Lt.

I think Frontline makes some very nice WW-2 figures, and 105 mm U.S howitzer crew is fantastic. I just wish they would produce some nice German and American armor to go along with them. They have made a Firefly, M4 British Sherman Cromwell and Churchill in the past.
