I also posted some images in the glossy section but I figured it would be good to post photos here to. I'm figuring that many of you haven't seen this gem.

This is a rare set for certain. I have the entire set but, at the moment, I can't find the rest of the band. Guess they're stuck on 95 in NJ somewhere. I'll take more photos of the complete group when they arrive...

This is an outstanding set. Would love to see the rest when you locate it. It is a set that is so very evocative of time and place. -- lancer

Yeah, wait till the rest of the band figures are in there. It really is all about place, time, sound, movement, experience.

I have always collected with the idea that everything can be sold and replaced with another interest, hobby, etc. Not this tho. Not this. Family stories about people from the neighborhoods shot down, family members killed, etc and this set just is that time.

Seriously one of Frontlines most ambitious and best.

You are so lucky to have this set. I look forward to seeing the band arrive. GM was unfortunately MIA in real life too.

it's one of those things. I put it someplace because I wanted it set aside and now I don't know where it is. If it is gone or MIA, I'll never be able to replace it. Dang.

What you have posted thus far looks great. I hope you are able to find the remaining parts of the set. I look forward to seeing them when you do.

I think I know who has this whole set....I f can track him down perhaps he will share a pic!

I wonder how many were actually produced. The piano player wasn't limited but the dancers and band were limited to 500. Then I think there was personal conflict somewhere in company and the molds were destroyed before they could release the full run.

Mine are numbered 81.

Louis might know better how many were shipped.

The entire set is currently in stock and available from Michigan Toy Soldier for $529.00

Cheers:

With this sale code ("Sale2012010") take 20% off the above price. Now that is very tempting!

Happy Hunting,

From what I remembered box wise, I think I was missing some figures the drummer and potentially a band group so I bought the set from them. I'm anxiously awaiting its arrival.

I couldn't believe after telling people that the set was out there that it was still in stock when I called in.

It'll be fun sorting it all out and photographing them.

Not only the band but that looks like the Andrew Sisters -Patty, Maxine and Laverne

It's "supposed to be". Officially/unofficially - it is Glenn Miller and one can assume its the Andrew Sisters.

Ha, I've been thinking of setting some funds aside to get the Figarti Memphis Belle. Thinking about it.
