Just got my Normanday fuel bowser and was checking it out next to the blue and yellow one and noticed that the drivers were different^&grin
I thought it was a straight repaint ,i wonder if the desert driver will be different
Its good to see K+C adding something alittle different to each model^&grin
Anyway very pleased with the two trucks

Nice one Scott, they both look superb to me and can't wait to add them to my collection.

Same here Rob, I had planned on only one but with this little 'time-travel' split-era diorama I am planning, I will need both! Darn it ^&grin That is unless a good range of RAF Normandy vehicles comes out by then as I will need something to put with the Typhoon and as it stands, the Bowser is the only one out there.

Oh and just bought the original RAF016 Spitfire too...should be here anyday!!!

Chris, how about the Normandy ' Mickey Mouse ' camo Tilly, I think this will go well with the Bowser. I only planned to get two Tillys but folded like a Birthday card and got all three. Glad you got the original Spitfire, THE most famous fighter of WW2, you gotta have one haven't you?!!

Cheers

Rob,

I was thinking that but it is an army vehicle and I was wanting to keep it pure RAF! I know the army would of course had contact with the RAF in Normandy though. Maybe it could be dropping off a radioman who had been out with ground forces radioing in targets for the Typhoon? Did I just talk myself into getting it??? :p
