I was thinking of further troop deployments in Normandy. The forthcoming glider troops sound great and will be a welcome addition. How about some US Beach engineers, mine clearance or some casualties to add some realism to our dios.

For the Brits there is a wide scope.Rifle squads,MG Team,Mortar team, A sniper would be cool too.Would love some Brit tank riders for My Churchill as well, but thats enough suggestion from me for a while.:)

Those little Tetrarch glider tanks might be cool with the new Arnhem release that is suppossed to come out.

Chris,

That's a fantastic suggestion. I'd completely forgotten those little tanks existed. They would look veeery cool.
Failing that, but along similar lines, the M22 Locust would look pretty nifty as well, although I don't think it saw operational use until 1945.

I'd like to see some 28th ID guys. Some Nisei would be neat as well

Nice idea, especially the 28th ID guys. FYI - the primary Nissei unit, the 442nd Regimental Combat Team was no where near Normandy or DDay. They were attached to the 36th Infantry Division, and came into southern France with the Anvil/Dragoon operation in August, 1944. They stayed with the Seventh Army. Andy made a historical goof in that some of his "DDay" infantry carry the patch of the 3rd Infantry Div, another outfit that was pulled from Italy and sent into southern France. The nissei unit would be quite correct with those guys nearby.

Correct- neither was the 28th- they hit on 22 July 44. When I posted that, I was still pretty new to the Forum and just blurted that stuff out. Thanks for the compliment!! I was a little disappointed the "Bloody Bucket" didn't get picked up for the Bulge line but, C'est la Vie.

The idea of the Nisei is one of the best suggestions I've heard in a long time. I hope Andy gives it some serious thought.

Thanks Brad!! You say a lot of nice things to me via these threads- I appreciate it.

I would also like to see perhaps a reissue of the PAK40- mostly because I am mad I had to sell mine 3 years ago but I think that would make a decent reissue.

I would also like to see a Chaplain. The Chaplains and Medical corps have a solid representation for Congressional MOH's- we should honor their sacrifices as well.

I too would like to see some medical corp figures and also maybe some beach engineers as well. These would look real good on the dio's Tony Neville is producing at the moement.
