This arrived today, and I am extremely pleased on how it looks, I have been looking for a piece that will rekindle the fire for the Roman collection, and this more that did it.
One of the facts that Nikki, informed me is there are becoming less and less artists that are willing and able to adhere to their standards, and with another thread saying that there is quite an increase in the prices of pieces that are being done by the Russian artists. It will be a reality that the next ones will definitely be more expensive. So if its been a while since you have been to their website, maybe revisit it.
The General Caesar caught my eye August or September, and the stock for it just arrived. So its been a wait. One other piece that caught my eye was the Pompeii the Great in triumph Armor, but I like pieces that are more into "ready for battle" look. Than the after battle look.

Congrats om your new acquisition. Could you possibly post some pics of your example?
Thanks, Joe

Interesting what Nikki reported. I have read tales and been told that the best Russian painters will not paint for Aeroart and prefer to paint for Russian studios/sellers. I do not think there is any doubt Kolobob has better painters. Arsenyev studio, well, it's not even fair to compare with Aeroart. Standards may well be a problem for the artists they have working for them, but there stable of artists are not that accomplished. Just my opinion, any thoughts?

Quality of recent Aeroart pieces is just a very small step over FL figures. So they should sell for 80$ a piece. Can't believe someone would pay 200$ and plus for a 'modern' standing Aeroart figure.
I'm afraid to say but Aeroart figures will be something of the past in the not so far away future. Same old figures.. no new sculpts.. no new books.. etc.

Neanderthal? Maybe. A general that maybe shares the same hardships, and gear as his soldiers. He better be broad, and muscled up.
