How does one come up with parts to replace lost or broken pieces from K/C vehicles ? I have a piece or two that are perfectly fine except for those missing parts..just curious. Maddadicus

Short of making something up or cannibalizing another K & C vehicle, there's no way I know how to do that.

Dealers must have mishaps from time to time or that # 1+++ customer who just happens to need that missing thingamujig...What do they do when they are in need ? Michael

I bought the U.S. paratroopers with the chutes and screwed up 2 chutes because the lines got hopelessly tangled. Contacted K&C directly and they sent new chutes to my dealer, who in turn sent them to me with my next order.
A buddy of mine also had a broken barrell on his 88 and K&C replaced that, so try K&C directly.

Along the broken parts line, I noticed somewhere on this forum you could straighten out a bent gun barrel by warming it between your thumb and fore finger. Will this method work on something a little bigger like the 50 cal mg's mounted on many of the US vehicles?

Thanks, Fred

I'd follow up Gary's advice and contact your dealer.

Because the figures are pewter they are much easier to straighten. An

occasional bent gun barrel can easily be returned to normal with a steady

hand and the proper tool.

Nothing like the old lead figures.
