Just wondering what this is going for as i have found a collections with a mint boxed set???
have searched all over but not getting any info via google/ebay etc.. help & thanks rik

Lets see... I think the boat should probably go for a top (premium) price of $300, and a low of $120. Each add on (I think they were three figs each) maybe high of $100 and low of $50. The lows would both be good deals, the highs, over the top. Maybe $200 and $75 respectively. I believe Ixec sold one a while back. You could ask him....
Hope I could help,
Sandor:salute::

I sold my duplicate in the past year and a half mint in box for $375 for the boat set and $75 and $65 for each of the add ons. Grand total $505. They didn't make many of the boats at all. $375 was a very fair price. I have seen the boat itself go for $400 - $500. The add ons are a crap shoot at times, you never know, a good deal can be had on them.

I love these kind of sets but with the price increases do you think we have seen the last of them?

Mark,
probably I hate to say, but the big sets may well be a thing of the past. Although, who knows? I still am trying to get over a mounted horse figure costing in the 70s.

I am inclined to agree with you Tom, even the recent 2/3 figure set releases are hard on the wallet.

Hmmm...I've always wondered whether anyone ever made one of these (Washington crossing the Delaware scene). Sounds like it would be very tough (and expensive:rolleyes2:) to acquire one.

Have all 3 sets. That I picked in a shop sale. One of those impulse purchases.
Although would sell at sensible price. As not my era of collecting. The cost of shipping back across the pond is prohibitive. As the boat comes in a large weighty box.

Haven't seen this set in a while. It is still a very impressive one to say the least!
