My father has taken a break from WW1 aircraft and has started some WW2 armour. Marc (Barneywomble) has kindly sent him some books on weathering and painting so we will soon see some pretty serious dirt and mud on some vehicles. He likes his planes looking factory fresh so the preparedness to try some weathering is a bold new step!

Jack, tell your dad he has done an excellent job. I built one of these when I was a kid and I still have it somewhere. It's one of my favourite little Jerry tanks.

P.S. get your dad to look at the weathering on the K&C AK halftrack and armoured car and some of the TG AK vehicles. They have done a good job on the weathering and it's quite simple to do. All your dad needs is a bit of German grey and to carefully put little marks around the vehicle to resemble paint scratches and wear and tear. If he want's to go all out on the weathering then also put bare metal paint scratches on the vehicle.

Tom
