Hey guys,

For you WWII buffs, this is a great set! I just received it 20 minutes ago and I'm very pleased with poses and the quality. Great work Ana.

Hi Carlos,

Do you have any pics to compare it with K&C figures?

Older HB figures have that kind of dull/pasty paint look so it will be interesting to find out if this issue had been resolved.

Sincerely,

nasir kasmani.

They still look the same to me, K&C figs are much better in all respects, no comparison. Just my opinion not worth no 125 bucks for a 4 piece set.

Believe it or not but I sold Gustav (Stuart) an Honour Bound tank. I kid you not. :)

I do like the look of at least three of these new Tigers, really good indeed.Just how to afford them!!

Yeah you did Brad and I love it, like I have said all along, I love their tanks its the figures I aint crazy about, read my post here again, I just dont care for HB figs compared to K&C, THAT IS MY OPINION AND MINE ALONE, if you buy HB figs and you like them and they make you happy then that is all that matters. I really love the tank you sold me Brad, I was able to buy another HB Panther turret on ebay and now I have my THIRD HB Panther:p.

I think HB has risen the bar on tank detailing now because you can see vast improvements on K&C tanks. I am a German tank fanatic, I love them, I also collect the Britains Panzer IV's, I just like em.

Say what you will, I dont care, it is my bank account that takes a hit and not everyone else's when it comes to this hobby, that is why I want to best product for the price, and to me it is K&C when it comes to figures. Enough said.................................................................

Well said Stuart, and you are not alone in thinking that Honour Bound figures aren't as well detailed as their vehicles. I have the Barkmann Panther and it's a great model, but the same can't be said for the figures that came with it which are towards the back of the shelf.

However some time ago I made the decision to take it easy on products from the newer companies such as Honour Bound until they get a decent market share.

I don't hold the same concerns for King & Country which is a large company with a huge market share, making them a fair target imo. Of course this means I seem very "anti" K & C to some people, but frankly my dears, I don't give a toss :D

Hey guys, It is getting a little heated ! I think most of these companies have their strengths and weakness. I do think K&C make the best figures in the industry. That being said, I also feel HB and Figarti make the best tanks hands down. My HB sherman blows any K&C sherman out of the water in regards to appearance and detailing, but I use K&C Bulge figures with the HB Ardennes Sherman and the diorama looks great. If you are not a purist, then mixing and matching tanks and figures is a great way to get the best of both worlds.

I wouldn't knock the K & C figures as they are done very well but there has been a great improvement from HB in the figure area since the Barkmann Panthers. I would put the tank commander holding the cup of coffee (from the Winter Panther) against any figure from the other manufacturers 1/30 or 1/32.

From my point of view, i always thought that HB's figure sculpting was on par with K&C,in fact i prefer its proportional size (KC's figure heads are kinda big to me). IT was the toning that tips the scale for K&C previously. However, with the gold edition, i can see the toning has drastically improved, potraying realism, and i favour it to the admittedly wonderfully bright and colourful K&C figures. So i hope this hew HB figure toning will be consistent for its figures from now on.

I'm not knocking K&C down, I'm merely stating that I prefer HB due to its realistic toning and size proportionality, and i do hope HB will not neglect its figure line to complement its wonderful tanks.

Sincerely,

nasir kasmani.
