It takes a brave person to take on a tank single handled, especially back in those days when machinery was relatively new on the battlefield.
A very different battlefield now, I've been watching the latest drone feeds from the Russian/Ukraine war. Soldiers there are vulnerable to drone attacks even when in a fox hole or on the back of a tank, drone munitions are basically dropped on their heads. You're not even safe inside a tank or APC, almost feel sorry for them sometimes, a tragic waist of humanity for political advantages.
