German Winter Radio and Medic teams (1 Viewer)

Well, Marcus is the original name of the old roman god of war (MARS), so the name surely fits very well to a pilot like you. :D

Supplies have been low from Allied Air attacks. Es tut mir leid.
I checked my figures again, and now I must say that in my opinion my medic set figures were not attacked by allied aircraft but by a cruel vampire :eek::eek:. The faces are not only too thin but also without any rest of blood, nearly white ! :D:D:D:D:D

Velcome to my nightmare:eek::eek: It ees nice to know my fiends are evreee-vhere! You haf found meee owwt:mad:

Here are some pictures of these two sets for your viewing pleasure. I have compared them to their summer variants and a recent K&C release to show relative size.

IMO I feel size is less of an impediment to mixing and matching with K&C than sculpting style and painting. HB's faces look very thin (even gaunt at times) when compared to K&C's slightly oversize heads and where K&C has a very bright rich color HB is more subdued (I would argue realistic) style.

I have the sets also, but how did you get the aerials to stay without glueing them?

I'll take them all with a side order of more please. I may have come across soldiers I would not buy, but I never met a toy soldier I did not like.:D

Tacky Wax that TF sells works great. It does no harm and you can take he antennas out. I do not have these sets but I used this method with the HB winter Panther antenna.

It's weird, the summer set had oversized holes so the antennas tend to flop around while the winter sets seem to have the opposite problem, too tight. I wonder if the holes vary from piece to piece. I was able to get antennas to stay just by pushing them into the holes. They could easily dislodge if knocked but they seem to stay put well enough.

My winter medic set is in the shop. I was a little disappointed that the dog seems so small, but is still a neat set.:)

I thought the dog was a bit small as well. On the other end of the scale is the dog in this Figarti set (I own this one as well) which looks too big.

You'd think so but German bred Alsatians are HUGE!! Sometimes weighing in at 135 lbs.

Got the new Medic team set. I think its very nice and my first honor bound set.
