God Speed Leadmen aka John:

Please remember that a positive outlook and attitude is just as important as what the medical staff will do for you! I look forward to hearing about your successful procedure & that you are feeling splendid once again!

Good luck, dude. There are some very fine heart OR teams up that way. I met a few of the Perfusionists from the North west at meetings and they are fine people. I am confident that you will be well cared for.

Just remember David Niven's advice from "The Gun Of Navarone" - "do keep asking them for bedpans and generally be a bad patient"

Gary B.

The best of luck John. Just think how good you will feel by OTSN. You will be pushing Louis and the rest of us out of the way for those retired K&C planes and such.

John,

My best wishes for a full and speedy recovery! I will be in touch with you soon!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat

Just wondered if anyone had heard how John's op went. He posted last week that he was scheduled for yesterday (Weds).

Gentle Friends,

This evening, I have been in touch with John's son, Michael. Michael has informed me that John's operation has been completed. Apparently the operation was an eight hour procedure.

John is under careful and skilled observation and he was not yet fully alert (as of approximately 6:30 p.m. CST). His vital signs are strong, his blood pressure is good, and everything seems to be moving in a positive direction. In the short run, things appear to point toward a successful outcome. I know well all hope so.

If I learn more and, if I have Michael's permission, I will post an update.

Warmest personal regards,

Pat

Thank you Pat, I am very glad to hear good news as I am sure we all are.

Thanks again

Gentle Friends,

This morning I received a brief update from John's son, Michael. According to Michael, John is alert and his recovery is progressing nicely. John is aware that many of his Treefrog friends have been thinking of him and praying for him. He is very grateful for the support.

If I receive further information, I will pass it on to the Forum.

Thanks for the update Pat,

If you can get a message to him via Michael that I need him back on the Forum super quick, as I need some advice on the chainsaw foam building front. Can't quite seem to get it right.

Gentle Friends,

This afternoon I received a brief update from John's son, Michael. Michael has informed me that John is recovering very nicely, but very slowly. His surgery was a major one and his recovery will take time.

Further, Michael indicated that any messages for John should be placed on Treefrog and John will read them when he is able. No flowers or visitors are wanted at this time.

If I learn more, I will certainly post the information.

Warmest personal regards,

Pat
