Duke,

Just tremendous! :salute:: My Uncle Jack crewed a B-24 in the 9th Airforce. He survived the war, and lived until I was about 40. He never spoke about his service, but when he passed I inhereited his Discharge papers and photographs. He was stationed in North Africa, Sicily and Italy, and was awarded a bronze star, I believe for one of the Ploesti Raids. I have a little shrine set up for him in the Figarti Room in my collection.

Great scene Duke, the figures enhance the display. I used to collect 1/72 diecast aircraft, mostly Corgi. I had several B24s in my collection, favorite being Strawberry Bitc h that served in the African theatre.

A magnificent beast Duke. Robin.

Thanks Robin

Thanks for sharing that Louis. I knew a B-24 pilot in my hometown and talked with him a few times before he passed. He was stationed in Italy.
