Spielberg is the keynote speaker this year in Gettysburg for the annual November commemoration of the Gettysburg Address. Likely related to the new Lincoln movie:

Dedication Event

An annual observation of Dedication Day and President Abraham Lincoln's "Gettysburg Address" with memorial services and ceremonies in the Soldiers' National Cemetery. The key note speaker for this year will be Steven Spielberg.

The event begins with a wreath laying ceremony in the cemetery at 9:30 AM followed by the service to be held at the brick rostrum. These ceremonies are free of charge.

This event is sponsored by the Gettysburg National Military Park, the Gettysburg Foundation, the Lincoln Fellowship of Pennsylvania and Gettysburg College.

Nice to see his participation. He has been a contributor to several historical causes. He and Tom Hanks were big supporters of the DDay musuem in New Orleans after BoB came out. Friend of mine met them at the opening and both were very gracious at the event. Chris
