Question to the Civil War buffs. Many visits to Gettysburg, I brought home and just found various 8.5 x 11 or 8x10 pictures of Civil War generals. Question, some appear to be colored pencil repros of photos. They were made by (memory fails me) American.... Has anyone in their trips seen these prints/photos and if so, do you remember who made them. They were inexpensive, couple bucks a piece. I am missing a few and if I could find the manufacturer, could possilbly find them.

THanks for any help,
Tom

Hey Tom-

Can't say I can immediately place them but perhaps, if you could scan an image, if possible, it may make it easier to assist. It sounds like I have some reproduction prints similar in style to this, though they are WW2 Germans.

Best of luck,
CC

Hi Chris,

Well, my memory came back! The Photos are Leib out of York (now known as Madison) and the watercolor engravings are American Heritage Engravings out of Alexandria!

Thanks anyhow,

Tom
