There will be a toy soldier show this Friday July 17th from noon till 6:00pm and Saturday July 18th from 9:00am till 6:00pm at the Wyndham Garden Hotel, 95 Presidential Circle, Gettysburg PA.

The Artist Preservation Group is the sponsor and this year they will be showing the totally restored colors of the 149th PA at the event.

There will be numerous military miniature, toy soldier, book and model kit vendors at the show, hope to see some of the forum members over the weekend............

Wow, based on all the replies, looks like they'll need a traffic cop outside the hall to ferry all the cars in off the street.............

I was there last year, was not impressed ( except for your tables )..My mother always said that if you do not have something good to say, you better be a convincing liar.. Michael

I will be there. Great hotel. They built it in anticipation of the casino getting approval which didn't happen. So now it's like the hotel in The Shining for most of the year.

I'll be there, but I'm not getting in till Friday night, so I'll everyone Saturday.

Prost!

LOL, line of the day on the forum.

Iv'e stayed there five times and talk about a staff that bends over backward to make your stay enjoyable, now I know why.

Michael, I understand what you are saying about the show, but given that it was the first time running it and it is sponsored by the APG, they did not do as good of a job promoting as they should have. They've brought in the guy who ran the World Figure Expo up in Boston back in 2004 and he has done a superb job, we'll see how it shakes out.

Besides, I'll be in Gettysburg, so it's all good IMO............

We're here at the show, got in yesterday afternoon and ran into George and his father, very nice to see them again.

I brought my camera, so I'll try to get some pics and post them for everybody. Hope to see some of the other local Treefroggers here today!

Prost!
Brad
