Id LOVE to see FL do a Biermeister for the Landsknecht line. Perhaps a limited release like he did of the 3 Musketeers for the 30 Year Wars line. Id love to see a standing Landsknecht chugging a brew from a stein and even more ambitious a vignette of 2-3 landsknechts seated around a wooden table drinking bier and brats. That would be fantastic I think.

I hope the Big Sale isnt the death of this line. I really enjoy it. Several of the figures- especially the mounted ones- can make for a one off "behind the scenes" diorama. I have several figures put together in a display case with thatched tudor style houses that look like Bavaria circa 1500.

Hi Chris,

I think ale guzzling Landsknecht's are fun poses too. I have a Russian figure by Arsenyev like that, and I also have a 54mm metal kit figure in the same type of pose that I need to assemble and paint.

Sounds like someone is suffering from what is known as Oktoberfest withdraw. :wink2:

The figures you describe do sound cool , I'd be interested. I really hope this line will continue, I think the Artillery set is just incredible I even bought two :redface2:.

von Frundsberg is one of my favorite historical figures from the homeland, his command set sits on my desk in a globe and is one of my all time favorite releases from FL. I've even visited his gravesite and former residence in Mindelheim. A hot tipp would be a visit during the Frundsbergfest, one of the coolest events I've ever seen.

Anyhow, would love to see some much needed Imperial Cavalry ^&grin^&grin^&grin
