I just got this set of Conte Gladiators and made this little backdrop to take a photo...these are pretty nice figures...really good sculpts...

Mike, just a history/military note. The weapon in the gladiator's hand, with the gladius and forearm at his feet, is a PUGIO. Although it is a pugio on massive amounts of steroids... It was the equivalent of a Roman side-arm... Andy (pugio)

hehehe...definitely on steroids...that is one broad short weapon...a "pugio"...an interesting tidbit...thank you...is that what you chose your handle after...

Once again another great job of creating a the wall for the backdrop Michael an like the way you finished it. Just like in the movies an the photos reflect it.....PapaZ

the arm was already on the base...I can't convert figures like you do...and yes...I love that series...I watch it free on Netflix...

thank you Papa...the wall was made from leftover Hirst Art's bricks...it was a very simple project...

Cool Michael, is there no end to your creativity?

this was a fun one Scott...I would really like to collect a range with helmeted warriors...
 
Michael, I really like the cartoon effect - always have in everything you have ever presented in this format. However, I particularly like how the gladiators and your arena turned out as cartoons - really very nice . . .
