Glossy I.D help... (1 Viewer)

That was John's problem too. I might just send it to you to have Mike replace the arm and just leave him without a rifle.

I already had the Jet Pilot with the helmet, but I finally picked up the other Jet pilot using his hands to describe a dog fight (for $9.95) a bit dinged up, and he is being sent down under for a bit of spa treatment from our talented friend John (Obee):

The pilot has arrived at the Toy Soldier Hospital and been measured for his prosthetic left arm.

The operation is scheduled this weekend, and I'll send you update on his condition then.

Good new today, the pilot has survived his operation, had his prosthetic fitted,

then he was taken to the 'paint & panel' shop for application of makeup to the new part.

Following that he needed to go to the Q-Store to get his flying suit patched, issued with a new wristwatch and finally received a gloss polish all over to come back to 'as new'.

I now hope to have him booked on the next transport flight back to the US to rejoin his fellow flyers on his airbase.

Hope you all like this repair job, I do like a challenge :)

John,

your talent never ceases to amaze me! You brought this pilot back from the dead, and now he will be displayed with his K&C squadron mates next to a K&C F14 Tomcat from the same period (early 1990’s). I can’t thank you enough, mate!👍👍

John's (Obee) package arrived safely today, and the pilot looks like it just left K&C's old factory in 1991! Fantastic job, John, as always! :salute:: Attached are some of my poor efforts at photos of the K&C Jet Pilots with a one of a kind K&C F86 Sabre Jet and some of John Firth's magnificent RAF Ground Crew on a TM Terrain diorama.

Good to see that the pilot has survived his journey back home and rejoined his squadron at your airfield.

Glad to provide you with the necessary treatment to bring him back 'into action' at at my toy soldier hospital over the past month,

John
