I found this web site from Canada that had some incredible deals on toy soldiers and made an account and placed an order and payed with my Paypal account but had second thoughts about it being to good to be true on a couple of the deals so I did a quick web search on the site and couldn,t find much other then a possible scam alert!!! So I canceled my PayPal payment but they have my info (email-address-phone) I don,t think they can do anything with my PayPal???? can they??? Can they do anything with the info that I provided??? Any one else know anything about this site??? The site had everything under the sun and great deals on all things Toy Soldiers! Should have known it was to good to be true! The site was gmoshi.com

Tim...

I looked at that website...
gmoshi.com...
looks safe to me...
I would order from them...

located in Canada...
their format puts me in the mind of an Asian retail company...
trying to market a variety of items in a colorful format that would appeal to a younger audience...
quite a hodgepodge of weird junk...
I could be off 100%...

I wouldn't worry about Paypal...

but giving out my email always bugs me...
don't be surprised if you start getting a lot of spam in a few weeks...

I thought so also till I tried looking into them more and found possible scam alerts and no reviews! The contact info looks funky also??? here is a link, https://www.gmoshi.com/contact_us.htm Most would have a clickable link and this does not. A lot of the deals seamed to good to be true also! Any one here ever deal with or heard of them???

Is there anything they can do with the account that I made? All I gave was email-address and phone. I payed with Paypal but canceled the Payment??? I believe Paypal is pretty safe but not sure if they can do anything with the info provided??? Should I be worried?

Yeah, don't reply to any emails that start with "Dear Beloved" or "Hello Dear, Can I trust you?"..................

OK . . . I ordered a few figures representing the Kaiser's Parade in 1913 (made in China) with the total being less than $50. Hopefully I can make a positive report in a couple of weeks or so as their prices are really reasonable.

So my mom wanted to buy a pair of shoes from here. When she tried to make the payment it told her that she needed to send a photo of her card to the company email while covering some digits to “secure her purchase” which I found very strange. Should she go through with it or not? solelook.comsolelook.com
"We appreciated your purchase from us. However, your order didn’t go through. Please provide the photo with card held in hand to verify that the actual cardholder is indeed authorizing a purchase (you can hide some digits). Our bank will recharge when receive the verification. What our bank do is ensure your account secure, your understanding would be highly appreciated."

Is https://www.solelook.com/ a scam? I want to buy a pair of sneaker but I'm not sure if i'm going to get scammed or not

Personally i would avoid like the plague

Furthermore not sure how you managed to pay with Paypal as they dop not list it among their accepted payment methods . The fact that they only accept Visa and bank transfers should get alarm bells ringing

Yeah..............that sounds legit.

I do the same thing with my customers; I also make them hold up a copy of the newspaper with the date on it to verify they placed their order on a certain day.

Someone actually asking if this sounds legit and should they go through with the purchase explains how COVID became a worldwide ****show.

It sounds like those are the Guard Corps figures, which are still being made by FairClover Land, who did the casting for Guard Corps. FCL had ownership of the molds after Alan Silk and Ed Lober passed away. If you got several figures for less than $50 total, that's a good price compared to what FCL charges in its eBay store. They sell the Review Party figures individually for around $50 apiece, if I remember correctly. The figures are also finished in a matte finish, comparable to K&C's current style. So, I can't speak to how legitimate gmoshi is, or how safe, but based on the details you provided, Al, that's a good deal.

Prost!

Gents,

On the surface, with a name like "Gmoshi" I would consider it a scam too.

I hope you didn't get..."GMOSHI'D"

Seriously, though, the name makes me think it's a Japanese sales site, like Rakuten. But yeah, I'd stay away.

Prost!

What,s up with these fake web sites??? I just found another one! https://www.doconnells.com/

Once again the key is to look at the address on the contact us page,Cukter.com and do a search on that . Brings up all sorts of scams and information . I honestly expect to see my products on there soon . I am already on the lookout for Shopify start ups that are dropshipping .
