Watched the first season, Forrest Whittaker does a great job. So this is the story of Bumpy Johnson (real life Harlem gangster) that begins upon his release from Alcatraz in 1963. OK - know up front - they take HUGE liberty with the actual history, BUT have created a decent show and it is coming back for season 2. If you like Mafia type shows, you will see some familiar faces playing the NY Family Godfathers (albeit some of them have really aged!!!). Worth a 10 episode investment if you like these shows!

Also focuses on Malcolm X and his relationship with Johnson - again, lot of liberty taken, but not bad drama
