Gold Tiger on Ebay (1 Viewer)

The Honor Bound Sturm Tiger is worth whatever was paid by the buyer. Money is a tool to use to acquire whatever you desire; be it a new car, a new house or a Damascus Steel Antique Sword.

A Questar Telescope retails for over $6000.00; is it worth it? Amateur Astronomers consider it to be the finest small telescope ever made. The design is exquisite and it is optically perfect, with zero optical aberrations per a Sky & Telescope review. A true work of art and worth every penny to those who appreciate such things! Ditto the the Strum Tiger IMO.

With all due respect and solely in my opinion, this isn't worth $2,000. To pay that kind of money is madness.

In your opinion. In mine, it is not. Think of the positive societal uses one could make of $2,000.

I'm sure we will now be treated to a series of posts by you on the topic. We can hardly wait.

Completion is an expensive game. I am willing to pay a lot for FL NAP0012 and still can't find one!

I am pleased you anticipate my response with such glee!

I am a capitalist not a socialist; so how I choose to spend my earned fiscal resources is not determined by anyone other than myself. My taxes support any social needs sufficiently IMO.
My discretionary spending supports businesses and jobs at companies I respect, like Treefrog Treasures or Questar.

Most people in my circle of family and friends think my modest (compared to many on the Forum) TS collection is "madness". However, it feels good in this stage of my life to be able to afford these little luxuries, after years of struggle and sacrifice. So if Louis wants to bid $2000, why not? Its not madness, its all relative.
