I have just updated my website, focusing on the production of wayang kulit (shadow puppets) sets. To represent these puppets, I had commissioned exclusive brass-etched pieces, mounted on wire and painted. Please take a look at the following webpages.
Thanks for your comments. Surprisingly, those puppets took a long time to be conceptualised. Just to track down a company to do brass-etching took 2 years! The rest of the time was in making decisions on the final look and how to package a set.
Thanks for the update, Vic! Your new projects look really cool, I like the Viet Nam Quoc and Forbidden City series. You're opening a couple of areas with lots of possibility for new subjects.
I like your upgrade to the website, and the backgorund information pages about the gamelan orchestra, it gives me a better insight to the intruments and the numbers used.
Looking forward to seeing the new figures from New Guinea when they get their colours.
Congratulations on your article in Collectors Gazette, I'm sure that will generate some interest too.
thanks for your nice comments. Knowledge on gamelan orchestras is a niche area and I thought that a nice tabulation and concise notes would help more viewers to appreciate the subject matter.
I am definitely expanding and exploring more areas, either within existing or new series.
