Need to finish watching first episode, only saw first 30 minutes, but I am liking it so far. Great idea for the Batman stoyline. Really like the portrayals of Penguin and Riddler so far.

Thing that I never understood about the Batman origin tale was how his parents died. They were very wealthy. Even in this series one of the detectives mentions they are wealthiest in Gotham. Whether they were seeing a movie or a play or whatever event, why would they need to ride back in a taxi? They would be arriving in a chauffeur driven limo. Ok, it is possible the limo could have been delayed on the way to pick them up and they run into the robber/killer. But it is never depicted this way. Anyway I would have written it differently.
