I ordered a Greif from Treefrogs thinking I would keep it awhile and maybe sell it on e-bay. I received my GREIF about 1/2 hour ago and boy did that ever change my mind. I only collect WS and D-day and that is about to change to include AK and EA.

I received my Grief set also-- first of AK stuff for me. I am really pleased with set. I also got two Rev war British but my bagpiper seems to lean too far-- don't think it is suspose to do that. My 8th Army bagpiper does not lean. Does any one have the Rev piper and is it leaning to right pretty far? Thanks Leadmen

I don't think he should lean but if you have a Bunker Hill slope then when you put him on it his lean will work in your favour.

I received mine today too. What can I say, another great piece as usual from K&C. I can't remember ever opening a new K&C set and being disappointed :)

All UK and Europe customers....

Dont panic ours are coming and will be in Durham by the end of the week. Myself and Dispatch Dave will then get them out to all preorders as quickly as possible.

We have 31 boxes of K&C turning up so anybody willing to help us sort it so they can get their AK sets sooner are more than welcome. We have 1/2 a ton of K&C to get sorted!!!!!!!!!!1

If you'll pay the plane fare, I'll gladly come :D I asked Mike about his "stash" and laughed. I'm not telling you he said.

I already started working on my wife about us going to London in December. I can't wait to get a look at Mike's stash. I am so glad that Mike and Kevin joined us. I really can't remember having more fun than I did this weekend.

Good luck on finding out what is in his stash. Mike won't even tell Tony or Bob what's down there.

Brad

Not..........strickly true i have the stash here at the warehouse but as most of it is Mike's private stash i am family swarn to secracy. So Louis if you come over in December or anybody else then get a quick cheap flight up to me and i will let you give me an offer... lol Mike would kill me.:D

I have just finished off our display room. Not enough room for a lot of things. But we have some nice little numbers in there. Early DD, early WSS, early LAH, etc. All out for people to see. I have three custmers coming this week for a look, so anybody is welcome just call first.

I belive myself and Mike will be in Chicago this year again so we could bring a small sample of the stash in our suitcase. Rooms are booked last year so more than sure we will be there. Mike and Sue are moving hopefully in the next few weeks up to me and then i will get to see what he has been hiding in the back of his wardrobe.

Brad got your message by the way, made the mistake of opening it on my handheld so need to forward it to my PC. But have most of it in hand.:)

all the best

Tony

Tony,

Thanks. Look forward to seeing you guys in Chitown this year.

Always happy whene sombody reveved there king and country models.
But why mast we always in Europe waiting two of more weeks for are models
You can buy them sooner on ebay then by the stockholder
but we are very patient in Europe.

Richard

In our case the delay is usually that we add the new releases to our normal stock orders every two weeks.

The AK's are coming in today for K&C UK.

Also another point is that it is quicker and easier to get shipments to the states from HK than it is to europe.

Great news Tony. Are you going to be able to get them shipped out to us within the next week?

Myself and Dispatch Dave are waiting for delivery and will work our little 'nuts' off to get them out ASAP.

Heh i'm just too eager for My Greif and 10.5 Gun.

I rang up Mike this morning to pay for my preorder.

I know my name is at W so when you post the preorders out could you work backwards alphabetically?

James

I got the Greif, the repainted Tiger, the AK transport, and retired AK 11 and 13 (for retail) today from local dealers. A banner day that shifts the balance of power to the Axis in my collection who are opposed only by Patton and his dog Willie. I have to say the repainted Tiger is the most striking of all.

Not very cool for Abraham Aaron.:D

Pierre.

Couple of tips on the Greif. First, it is tied into the box. So don't break it trying to pull it out. Second, the Antenna is very small and difficult to find. Last, Rommel is a tight fight with the machine gun. He also seems to stand much higher than pictured. Looking over rather than under the bar.

Hey Combat, try putting the Rommel figure in the vehicle from the side, under the bar, then place one foot on the floor of the Greif and the other foot on the seat and he should lean out the side just like in the picture.:)
