Dear All

In all the excitement of releasing the new sets on Thursday I managed to lose control of my counting ability and now realise the following serial numbers should have been applied:

TGM004 Mortar Set (Normandy and Tropical version)

TGM005 PAK38 set (Normandy and Tropical Version)

TGM006 Add on PAK set (Normandy and Tropical version)

Please note the add on Pak set can be utilised with the HMG or the Mortar set in exactly the same way and is not restricted to being utilised solely with the PAK 38.

Our photographer confirmed receipt of the metal painted samples today and I will be able to send out e-brochures some time this week.

Important news part below!

As of Saturday evening, so around 48 hours after releasing news of the above releases we had received orders for 948 sets, this has now risen to 1057 which is obviously great news and far higher than anticipated. After conducting a mini poll amongst 5 people consisting of 3 collectors and 2 authorised dealers the following results were obtained:

1 against increasing production numbers on this run

1 not responded yet

3 for increasing production numbers

We have therefore decided that we will increase the allocation as follows to 150 of each Tropical version and 225 of each Normandy version for this release and all following releases unless otherwise notified. For those of you who do not agree with this policy, all I will say is imagine if you had placed your order only to be told today that no sets were available for you and your best bet would now be eBay? We want collecting to be fun and a pleasure where you can enjoy our products without having to jump thru hoops to obtain them. I know the vast majority of people will understand the logic behind this decision and support us in making our products available to a wider audience. A production run of 150 sets for the Tropical version is still very small compared to the runs by other manufacturers and as such will not detract from the value of your purchase in years to come. It’s a natural step for any producer to increase their production runs as they become more popular and as such stronger sales make us a stronger company. This company now plans to be around for the long term future as our sales grow and I am sure most of you will support our decision. Lastly for those of you who thought you had missed out on a Tropical set contact your dealer or me at the earliest opportunity and place your order before these extra sets go! For those of you after a Normandy set we still have a few left but the PAK looks likely to be retired before it’s even released so get a move on and don’t say I did not warn you!

Regards

Thomas Gunn

HI TOM.......Good decision....you have really great sets and a lot of us would like them. I collect toy soldiers because i like them. IFSPECULATORS DONT like your decision to bad collecting should be for enjoyment and fun. if you want to get rich invest in gold my thoughts.

Definitley the right decision in my view,I'm sure people would rather there be a small amount more available than not getting the set they thought they'd ordered.
