Today is the 234th Birthday of the Marine Corps. May they last another two hundred years. Give to "Toys for Tots". Leadmen

Happy birthday Marines! I am giving a speech for Veterans Day tomorrow, and Marines will of course be thanked along with the other branches of the service.

No Randy,

I'm small potatos, the trustee (an elected official like a deputy mayor) of a little village called Roslyn Harbor, and I am giving a speech for the veterans at the local Roslyn Volunteer Fire Department.

Louis Good For You. I can't think of a better location than a firehouse whose members are often veterans themselves and also serve and protect us everyday. Good luck and a good turnout. "Mayor Badalato"--that would work in the Big Apple too!

I can't think of a better way to commemorate the USMC Birthday today and likewise Veteran's Day tomorrow than watching Taking Chance an unforgettable, moving, spiritual and reverent way to remember the sacrifices of those who serve our country. Watching this film is like standing on Holy ground.

Anybody who has seen Taking Chance and isn't moved by it has no human compassion at all.

Many happy returns, lads, keep your heads down and stay safe. God bless.

Happy 234th USMC!

My dad served in the Pacific theater in WWII. His four brothers were also in the Corps, WWII to Viet Nam. To all who served and are serving, Thank You and Semper Fi!
