You may be wondering what Howard got himself for his birthday.

Now between you and me. don't tell him I told you, but I have very reliable information that he was so impressed with Chicago he bought the Hotel !!!

Hotel de Lille that is from Ken of Hudson and Allen (see Ken's thread). He did mention he was very impressed with Ken's diorama items.

Seems he had a great time in Chicago and met a great bunch of people, which will come as no surprise.

The big question is which of his many troops will get to play with the Hotel.

As I said don't tell him I told you !

For a second, I thought you meant the Hyatt. That's the only way he would beat Steven out for the retired items: barring Steven form the Hotel! :D

That would be an interesting tactic. However organising a temporary "kidnap" might be cheaper.

Many, many thanks for your thoughts on my Birthday.:):) To my Aussie mates Brett, Alby, Wayne and John. My yet to meet Pommy mates Jeff, Mitch and Simon. Mates also yet to met Raymond (Singapore) and Scott (Canada).
Finally to all my great cobbers in the Land of Milk and Honey (USA) Brad, Mark, John, Mike, Tom, Michael, Young Jake, Louis, Steven and one of the best gals in the world young Shannon. Thank you all for your greetings.
Still recovering from the six wonderful days I had in Chicago (Toy Soldier Heaven) and also having the chance to catch up with old mates and to met many new ones. Shannon and Pete are to be congratulated for this Forum which brings together so many fantastic people.:cool::cool:
