I was at the air museum earlier today and one was there in RAF colours I don't know if they are going to buy it for their vehicle stock but, it looked great. another nice couple of hours wandering the airfield talking with my wife and some old RAF bomber pilots who were there as a bus group. Humbling talking to them

uksubs....

Nothing like that its the Elvington air museum but, its a great visit and not to far from me and, always has some vets their no matter when you turn up. I have lots of signatures etc from the people who visit. Its also got a reasonable shop which, usually has some really good paintings of aircraft from WWII onwards, models both plastic and metal.

I really like the place and used to race on the airfield and was there the day Richard Hammond had his crash.

Nearer to the coast we also have Eden camp which used to be a POW camp been twice but, its too far with the difficulties my wife has.

Rob..

Been twice. Not bad day out. V1's t-34's and german half tracks and stuff like that. I believe they have more vehicles now. I liked the Tirpitz display but worth going if you are up this neck of the woods. its been about three and a half years since I last went
