Hawker Hurricane Question (1 Viewer)

RAF007 - I have had some recent debates on the production run of this "first" model and the repaint (and new coded I guess) one...

Questions:

1) Was it 400 or 900 that ran for this first release?
2) When is the new paint scheme due out and will it only be 200 (I find this unlikely but that is what I was told).

I have an RAF007 - the last one from my dealer... they are pretty wiped out already around the US.

It was supposed to be 400 for the 1st run and 200 for the second.

2nd Hurricane is due with dealers in December.

With all the chatter on TREEFROG about the Hurricane I believe this bodes well for K&C when they release some more iconic airplanes like Spitfires, Me-109's, Mustangs etc. The future looks bright ( if you like WWII airplanes ). I wonder if we'll see a Red Baron Triplane for the WWI series?

K&C making affordable WW1 planes in polystone would be a sure winner and a great addition to their WW1 range,which incidentally i dont collect as yet,even tho i have looked at them with enviable eyes on many occasions.

I agree, WWI 1:30 scale would be unique, especially to the quality standard of K&C... I would think a very famous plane would be a good first gander to "prove" the market - Red Baron, anyone?
